INSEAD x StashAway Webinar, October 5th, 2021

An inside look into StashAway, as Michele Ferrario (Co-founder and CEO of StashAway) explained how their technology and investment strategy sets them from other traditional financial advisors and digital wealth advisors. We looked at how Stashaway’s technology personalises your portfolios, and how it intelligently manages your investments.

Michele spent half of his career in and around financial services, as a consultant to large financial institutions at McKinsey & Co., and then as a Private Equity investor. He then spent the second part of his career building consumer internet companies, most recently as Group CEO of ZALORA, where he was responsible for it growing 15x and becoming the undisputed leader in the market. Michele holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and in 2016 was invited by Singapore’s Minister of Finance to be a member of the Singapore’s Committee for the Future of the Economy.

INSEAD x Endowus Webinar: From Morgan Stanley CIO to WealthTech, June 1st, 2021

The Investment Management Club is hosted a webinar with the Chairman & CIO of Endowus, Samuel Rhee, on Tuesday June 1st, 2021. Sam shared his insights on investing, fintech, and entrepreneurship.

Endowus is a Singapore-based financial technology company that empowers people to take control of their financial future. The firm’s proprietary systems provide data-driven wealth advice in constructing personalised solutions. The firm provides its end-to-end digital solution to individual and institutional investors. Sam has over 26 years of investment experience, spending the bulk of that time at Morgan Stanley. He is the former Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in Asia.

Responsible Investing Talk, 14 October 2019

NN Investment Partner’s France CEO, Mr Philippe Fidaire, gave a lunchtime talk on Responsible Investing at INSEAD’s Fontainebleau campus. The session was moderated by INSEAD Professor Lucie Tepla.

Paris Trek, 28 August 2019

INSEAD IMC organized a Paris Trek for students to learn more about investment and industry trends. We are thankful to Stéphane Corsaletti (CEO, ABN AMRO Investment Solutions), Julia Kung (Portfolio Manager, Amundi) and Martin Burke (Head of Range Management, AXA Investment Managers), for hosting us and sharing their knowledge and experiences.

Congratulations to the INSEAD 17D team!

Our INSEAD team came 3rd among more than 20 schools

In the final round our INSEAD team competed with schools such as Princeton, Illinois Tech, Georgetown, LBS, EGADE, IPADE, USC Marshal, Vlerick and managed to grab the 3rd place in the competition based on investment returns and strategy presentation.

The strategy was based on an active-passive managed strategy combining satellite portfolios containing high-conviction stocks to generate additional alpha based on research and knowledge.
