Eu-Gene Sung photoThe world’s biggest sporting organizations today run as huge multi-national businesses. Ever been fascinated by the workings of these businesses and their multi-billion dollar deals? Here’s your chance to know more.

In 2017, Alibaba Executive Vice Chairman Joe Tsai bought 49% of the Brooklyn Nets NBA team for $2.3 billion, as part of a record size deal. We’ve got a guest speaker who worked on that transaction to come speak at INSEAD in Fontainebleau:
Eu-gene Sung: is the CFO of ‘Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Global’ overseeing the finance activities of the Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets and their NBA G League team, the Long Island Nets, the New York Islanders business operations, NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Webster Hall, and LIU Brooklyn Paramount Theatre. Eu-gene is also an INSEAD MBA’03J Alumni.

Eu-gene will also be supported by Chris Martinez (an INSEAD 18D Partner) who worked closely on the transaction.
