INSEAD Football Club

Welcome to INSEAD Football Club

The purpose of this website is to inform future/current students and alumni about the latest news and information on the Football club.

With two MBA intakes overlapping and one MIM intake in September, each class has the opportunity to play with the previous and following intake classes.  The IFC club’s fixtures typically include MBA/MIM football tournaments in Europe and the US, home and away friendlies with other top European MBA programs, intra-squad December vs. July class matches, home friendlies vs. Executive MBA, YMP, AMP, and specialty programs, and finally the student vs. faculty match.

Home matches are played on a pitch located next to the main INSEAD campus in Fontainebleau, France.  While there are no fixed seats, fans are invited to watch from the sidelines.

Practice Times & Info

Practices are held twice per week on the football pitches located 2-minute walk from the INSEAD Fontainebleau campus. As you turn off the N7 on to Route de l’Ermitage, the INSEAD campus will be on your right hand side.  The football pitches are located at the end of this street on the left hand side, just before the road turns right to circle the INSEAD campus.  Walk through the gate, take a right at the first set of tennis courts and the pitches are straight ahead. The current practice schedule are:

  • Tuesday: 12:30 to 13:30 (F2 turf pitch)
  • Tuesday: 20:00 to 21:00 (F3 gravel pitch)
  • Thursday: 12:30 to 13:30 (F2 turf pitch)
  • Saturday: 11:45 to 13:15 (grass pitch)

Please note that practices / trainings are optional but well-attended by students.

Executive Education

INSEAD hosts Executive education programs regularly on campus.  The IFC club invites all programs to contact their program coordinator to schedule matches with the IFC team.  We regularly play friendly matches with the Young Manager’s Program, Advanced Management Program, Executive MBA Program, International Marketing Program and various other private programs hosted by individual companies.
