Format

Join us as we explore the diverse pathways of Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), from the traditional search fund model to alternative and emerging approaches.

This conference will examine search strategies, offering insights into how technology is transforming deal sourcing and due diligence. We will also cover key aspects of the ETA journey—including acquisition, board dynamics, operational excellence, and exit strategies.

Additionally, we will celebrate the launch of INSEAD’s new ETA & Search Funds Hub, where you can discover valuable resources and opportunities to support your ETA journey.

Getting there 

The conference takes place at INSEAD’s Fontainebleau campus, located in the forest near Paris.

  • From Paris by train: the fastest way is to take a train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Fontainebleau, which takes about 40 minutes and runs every half hour. From Fontainebleau Station we recommend taking a taxi / Uber or bus (Bus 1 runs every 15 minutes, INSEAD is a 7 min walk from the bus station)
  • From Paris centre by taxi/Uber: this usually takes about an hour depending on traffic. Expect prices to be around €80-100
  • From Paris Charles de Gaulle / Paris Orly: public transport options available but take >2hrs. Uber (45 mins from Orly and 75 mins from CDG, assuming no traffic) is recommended.
  • By car: you can park at INSEAD’s secured parking garage. Alternatively there is plenty of free parking availability next to INSEAD’s campus (link)
