5th annual Student-led ETA Conference – 11th of May

We are pleased to invite you to the 5th Annual Student-led ETA Conference on the 11th of May 2024 at INSEAD’s Fontainebleau campus in France, hosted by IESE, INSEAD and LBS. The conference will bring together global (prospective) searchers, investors, faculty and operators. Keep an eye on this page for more information about ticket sales and program.

Format

The conference promises to be an unforgettable event where we will explore the current state of ETA and take a deep dive into the lifecycle of ETA, from searching to acquiring and operating. The day will include multiple panels with speakers from the investing and operating side across ETA topics, as well as plenty of networking opportunities for participants to get to know each other.

The day will entail five panels covering the entire spectrum of ETA. During the day, there will be opportunities for 1-on-1 interactions between (prospective) searchers and investors

We will start with coffee and registration at 8:30. The first session starts at 9:00.

Getting there

The conference takes place at INSEAD’s Fontainebleau campus, located in the forests near Paris.

From Paris by train: the fastest way is to take a train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Fontainebleau, which takes about 40 minutes and runs every half hour. From Fontainebleau Station we recommend taking a taxi / Uber or bus (Bus 1 runs every 15 minutes, INSEAD is a 7 min walk from the bus station)
From Paris center by taxi/Uber: this usually takes about an hour depending on traffic. Expect prices to be around €80-100
From Paris Charles de Gaulle / Paris Orly: public transport options available but take >2hrs. Uber (45 mins from Orly and 75 mins from CDG, assuming no traffic) is recommended.
By car: you can park at INSEAD’s secured parking garage. Alternatively there is plenty of free parking availability next to INSEAD’s campus (link)
